Privacy

Short version: not much.

CyberColt Bingo is built to do one job and get out of the way. There's no signup, no tracking, no ad networks, and no data sold to anyone.

What's collected

To run a live bingo session, the app stores a small amount of data on a real-time sync service. No separate database, no analytics service, no advertising, no third-party trackers.

  • Session state — the called numbers, current pattern, current round, and game mode for each active session, keyed by the 6-character session code (e.g. HA63FB).
  • Bingo claims — when a player taps "Hold to Call Bingo", their card serial number, optional display name, and which squares were marked are sent to the host so they can verify the claim.
  • Display name (optional) — if a player chooses to enter a name on their card, it's stored locally on their device and only transmitted to the host if they call bingo.

What's stored locally on your device

The player card and watch screen save a few small things to your browser's localStorage so the experience persists across page refreshes:

  • Your card's serial number (so you keep the same card if you reload).
  • Which squares you've marked on your card.
  • Your optional display name.

None of this is sent anywhere. Clear your browser's storage and it's all gone.

What we don't do

Things we deliberately skip
  • No accounts, sign-up, or login of any kind
  • No analytics or behavior tracking
  • No advertising or ad networks
  • No selling or sharing of data with third parties
  • No cookies beyond what's required for the session itself
  • No location tracking, no device fingerprinting

How long things are kept

Bingo claims auto-expire 24 hours after they're created. Session data persists as long as the host's session is active; if the host clears or deletes the session, it's gone immediately. Local browser data persists until you clear your browser cache or storage.

Your data, your control

Because there are no accounts, there's nothing to "log into" or delete. To remove yourself from a session: stop the app, clear your browser storage, or wait for the host to clear the session. To remove a session entirely: the host can clear or end the game from their panel.
